The Four Decisions Behind a Client’s Yes
A prospect can like you, understand your offer and still decide not to buy. That does not automatically mean you need a stronger closing line.
It may mean there is a decision you have not helped them work through.
In YESMAXXING™, I use four questions to explore that decision: do they trust you, want the solution, believe in the method and believe they can do the work?

YES to you
Your buyer wants to know whether you understand their situation. Relevant examples, a clear point of view and thoughtful questions can help them assess that. Look at your content: does it show how you think about the problem, or simply announce that you are an expert?
YES to the solution
Someone can trust you without wanting the outcome you are selling. Ask what they actually want to change. If your offer addresses something they do not consider a priority, pushing harder will not make it a better fit.
YES to your method
Explain how your approach connects the starting point to the outcome. A list of sessions describes access. A clear method explains what happens during the work and why those steps matter.
YES to themselves
Sometimes the unresolved question is personal: will I have the time, support or ability to implement? Explore the practical concern. Explain what the client needs to contribute and what support you can genuinely provide. Avoid replacing a real capacity problem with motivational pressure.
Try this after your next enquiry
Write down the questions the prospect asked. Place each under one of the four decisions. Where did you have a clear answer? Where did you make an assumption?
Use that insight to improve one part of your content or sales conversation. You might need a better explanation of the method, clearer expectations or a more relevant example.
These questions are a diagnostic tool, not a way to manufacture agreement. A useful conversation can also establish that the timing or offer is not right.
